FLAME CLUB IS NEARLY BACK!

We are excited that our Parish Youth Club Flame will return on 4 September and each Friday night in term time in St. Mary’s, Star of the Sea Parish Centre, Portstewart from 6-8pm, £2 per child which includes break. The club is open to children from 6 years old and above and we provide a range of fun activities; games, arts and crafts, gardening, cooking, singing and prayer time. All are welcome as we support the wonderful children of our Parish to grow in friendship, fun and faith! Flame Club is led by a brilliant team of young leaders supported by adult volunteers. We are always happy to welcome new youth volunteers; training and support will be provided. Volunteering with Flame is a great way to give of your time, gain experience in working with children, build your skills, creativity and leadership, all whilst having fun. It also is a great addition to your CV and works in conjunction with John Paul II, Duke of Edinburgh, Oscar Romero and school-based awards. We also welcome new adult volunteers who give one Friday a month to help provide support and ensure our safeguarding protocols, all whilst seeing the kids have a ball!
