PORTRUSH ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE 153RD OPEN GOLF TOURNAMENT

Parish facilities have been leased to the R&A for use during The Open. St Patrick’s Primary School has also been hired out along with the grass playground adjacent to Sand Dune Terrace. Whilst this provides a great opportunity to receive vital funds to help in the upkeep and running of our facilities it also provides an opportunity for our parishioners to volunteer and help run our facilities during this period. Anyone interested in helping can add their name and phone number to the list at the back of St. Patrick’s Church in Portrush. Volunteers are required for opening and closing facilities, cleaning and servicing facilities, setting out chairs and other general helping duties. This is an exciting opportunity, and all ages are encouraged to take part. In addition, Mass times during the week of The Open will be affected, details of the changes will be posted in next week’s bulletin.
