New Regulations In The Church (10 April). Nearly back to normal!
As we continue to ease restrictions in our Church, from Palm Sunday (10th April) it will no longer be necessary to book for Mass if you do not require social distancing. We recognise that people attending Mass have a variety of risk factors and levels of immunity according to their circumstances and so will continue to offer the option to be socially distanced. The left side of the body of the church and half of other areas will be unrestricted and the other half will continue with the system of 1 metre social distancing. This decision has been taken so that as many people as possible can feel comfortable attending Mass regardless of their personal situation.
If you would prefer to be seated with social distance (at 1 metre) please book via Eventbrite or by emailing/phoning Emer on portstewartpastoralcouncil@gmail.com or 077 0904 3921.
We thank everyone who has booked for Mass throughout the period of stricter restrictions, your actions allowed us to maximise our space in the Church without risking any of our safety measures and helped keep your Parish family safe. Thank you!
It is very important that you continue to protect yourself and others around you by not attending Mass if you have a cough or are feeling unwell. It remains mandatory for everyone in the church to wear a mask at all times.
Masses will still be available to be watched online here and on YouTube. Recordings of the masses will be available on YouTube and 45 minutes after the mass here.
