St. Padre Pio

This year, the Church celebrates 20 years since Pope Saint John Paul II declared Padre Pio a Saint.

To mark this occasion, the Diocese of Down and Connor has arranged for the relics of Saint Padre Pio to be brought to St. Peter’s Cathedral, Belfast, All Saints’ Church, Ballymena and St. Patrick’s Church, Downpatrick from 6th – 11th November.

The relics are being brought across by the Saint Pio Foundation. All are welcome to come along to venerate these relics of St. Padre Pio and to join in public and private prayer. It will also be possible to remotely join online through the web-streaming of the various services.
