Healing through Remembering

Friday 21st June 2024

St Anne’s Cathedral, Donegall Street, Belfast from 11.30am to 12.30pm.
Using the biblical practice of lament, this ecumenical service offers a space to reflect on the conflict in and about Northern Ireland as well as the future that is before us. In this space we acknowledge our deep hurt and pain, reflect on what we might have done or might still do, and commit ourselves to a future where such suffering and loss does not happen. This is a service for everyone because violence has affected all of us.

St Patrick’s Church of Ireland, Church Street, Coleraine from 3 pm – 6.30 pm.
Organised by Coleraine Churches Forum, this year’s remembrance takes place in St Patrick’s Church, Coleraine. The names of all who died will be reverently read aloud from the book of Lost Lives. Parishioners are encouraged to assist in the Reading of Names or to take the opportunity to visit the Church for private prayer
